Through recent government guidance, a number of businesses have been feeling the pressure, with many closing their doors during the lockdown. A side effect of this has meant that many essential businesses and caregivers, including the NHS, have been unable to access the supplies they need to keep people safe.
As a long-standing business proud to do our bit, JA Seals have reopened our doors in a way that can protect both staff members and the public in order to get door seals and more to those who need them as well as supplying needed materials for use in many other forms.
In tough times, JA Seals are here to get the job done, no matter what the task. Having realised our tools and materials can be used for a number of urgent protection uses, we have set to work getting the supplies out to local hospitals and more. Local NHS trusts have found a shortage of the supplies they need to section off wards and create sterile areas in which to treat patients without cross-contamination. Our door seals worked out as the perfect fit. As Des, the works manager explains, "we didn't think that anything of ours could be relevant but it is. Everyone needs to do their bit." With hospitals needing the supplies quickly, we have been able to provide them with a same-day service or delivery the next morning.
Some examples of products we can provide include EPDM Self-Adhesive Backed Foam Seals which has been used recently to help the manufacture of PPE visors for close contact with resources such as our PVC Nitrile Self-Adhesive Backed Foam Seals seeing a similar usage for those looking to create PPE for caregivers. Our 25mm, 40mm and 50mm Rubber blade Door Seals have also been helping local NHS wards seal all areas of the internal doors, giving an air-tight environment on fitting to help protect patients and staff members with our high-quality brush strips also providing an alternative to prevent dust and draughts escaping between doorways.
If your usual supplier has closed during the lockdown, why not give us a call and see how we can help. Having supplied materials to hospitals, safety visor-makers and more during this time, we're doing our part to get the right resources to those who need them. Why not see how we can help you?
