Recently, we’ve gained accreditation as a member of the DHF. The DHF is a not-for-profit trade association that supports and sets standards for companies involved in doors, hardware, shutters, garage doors and automated gates.
The DHF (Door and Hardware Federation) is an association that provides training, technical advice and support to over 500 members involved in the door and hardware trade and committed to raising the standards of the industry. The DHF works with various bodies such as BSI standards committees, compliance authorities like the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Trading Standards as well as fire and safety organisations across the UK and Europe.
The Federation was originally formed in 1897 and after being established it became one of the leading industry bodies helping to shape standards and best practices in the field.
Our new Door and Hardware Federation membership is a big milestone for us at JA Seals as it validates our commitment to best practices and marks us as a door seals manufacturer who takes pride in product quality and continuous improvement.
In practice, our membership will provide us with access to the latest technical guidance, compliance information and staff training opportunities relevant to our industry. It will also help us continue maintaining the high standards our products are known for by staying at the forefront of relevant regulations and safety updates.
