JA Seals garage door threshold seals offer a simple solution to keep draughts, pests, and moisture out. Installation is easy, and this guide helps you achieve a professional look.
Unravel the JA Seals roll beforehand for easier application. Clean the area and remove any debris. Next, measure the exact width of your garage door opening, including the space between the frame and brickwork. Cut the seal to size, accounting for space around the frame.
For a perfect fit, place the seal against the closed door and mark the cutting line on the floor. Open the door and repeat on the outside edge. Apply a line of the included polyurethane adhesive following the marked lines, then add a zig-zag line for extra hold.
Finally, press the seal firmly onto the adhesive, starting from one end and working along the entire length. Clean any excess adhesive and allow the seal to cure for 24 hours before use.

Start by cleaning the area where the seal will go. Unravel the seal roll beforehand for a straighter, easier fit. Then, measure the entire width of your garage door opening, including the space between the frame and the brickwork. Remember, you'll need to cut the seal to fit the frame snugly.
Position the seal against the door frame where it closes. Mark the seal with a pencil where it needs to be cut at each end to fit around the frame.
With the door closed, position the seal inside and mark the floor where it meets the seal. Open the door and repeat, marking the floor where the seal meets the outside edge.
Use the floor markings as a guide. Apply a straight line of polyurethane adhesive, then add a zig-zag line within the marked area for extra grip.
Starting from one end, press the seal firmly onto the adhesive all the way along. Wipe away any excess glue and let the seal cure for 24 hours before using.
